Given that people obviously make the effort to read this blog, I should make more of an effort to keep it up to date. For that reason I am going to include a few different topics in this post, thereby trying to hide my deficiencies.
First I have to mention the typhoons. The Philippines has been hit by over 20 typhoons this year. Some of those typhoons have been very severe indeed, causing hundreds, probably thousands, of deaths. The people here take tragedies in their stride; they are used to them. That does not make the situation any less desperate. I hope I am not being patronizing when I say that seeing the resilience and strength of the Filipinos has given me a totally different attitude to life. It just makes you feel humble.
Next, I have to mention Manny. For those of you that have never heard of Manny Pacquiao, here in The Philippines he is idolized. I know there are sporting superstars all across the world, but I doubt there is anyone that receives a fraction of the adulation in their own country, that Manny Pacquiao receives here. Now that adulation is becoming worldwide. On Sunday morning the whole of The Philippines, and over a million pay-per-view customers in the US, watched as Manny won yet another world title, in yet another weight class. The guy is a phenomenon. Without doubt he is the greatest pound for pound boxer in the world. He also appears to be a genuinely nice guy, who never resorts to trash-talking to try and sell tickets. However, in my opinion, the most amazing thing about the man is that, when he enters the ring, he always carries the weight of a nation on his shoulders. Yet he never stops smiling, and never displays any sign of nerves. His next fight will hopefully be against Floyd Mayweather. Yet again he will be fighting a bigger man, but I wouldn't bet against him. Win, lose or draw, he has already cemented his legacy.
Now on to Maria Lani Philippines. The company is just about to send it's first shipment by sea, to Latvia. Cocovogue are the first company to market Maria Lani products outside of The Philippines. They are amazing people, and obviously we wish them tremendous success.
There are also exciting developments for Maria Lani in other countries in Asia. Isn't it great that people all over the world are now becoming aware of the tremendous benefits offered by raw virgin coconut oil and moringa/malunggay.
I typed the two previous paragraphs with a little disappointment, (as well as two fingers). I was determined to be the first overseas distributor for Maria Lani. Unfortunately I was overtaken by circumstances beyond my control. These days it is not difficult for anything to overtake me; I am not as quick as I used to be. In fact I was never that quick, although I did come third in the egg and spoon race in junior school. Rest assured however, that you are only a couple of months away from being able to buy Maria Lani products in Western Europe. That will not only be the beauty products, but also the nutritional products, such as VCO, coconut sugar, moringa capsules, and much more.
Take care.

Trade shows.
I know. I know. I promised photographs and they haven't appeared. As usual, it is not my fault. I am waiting on others, and they have been slowed up by circumstances way beyond their control. (I think it is four typhoons that have hit The Philippines in the last month.) The photographs will be posted very soon. (He types with fingers crossed.)
Just a quick mention for our distributors in Eastern Europe. Maria Lani is being marketed there under the Cocovogue brand name. Their first trade show, in Riga last week, was a resounding success. Liene, the marketing director tells me, "interest is great, because the products are really good". This only echoes what I have been saying on this blog for the last six months. Maria Lani products really are something special.
Cocovogue products will be on show in St. Petersburg and Moscow later this month. So if you happen to be visiting Russia, pop in and say hello to the Cocovogue team.
P.S. The email addresses, in the column to the right of the posts, now work. If you have any questions at all regarding Maria Lani Philippines, please feel free to get in touch.
